Results:
- Over a 12 month period, 25 of the site’s 793 users that appeared in the front page sample size of 2,679 accounted for more than 30% of total front page stories, with the top 5 users accounting for 10%.
- The most popular story categories discussed on Digg revolve around technology, news, entertainment and politics.
- The most popular topics on Digg during the 12 month period included Digg itself, Barack Obama, Fox News, iPhone 4, Facebook, Google, Apple, Wikileaks, Bill O’Reilly, Jon Stewart, Steve Jobs, Sarah Palin and Marijuana.
- Digg’s traffic continually fell well into 2011, levelling off at roughly 1/3rd of what it was originally recorded at in June 2010.
